Default Are long arm kits worth the money??

Hey I was looking into lift kits for my XJ and was wondering if it would be worth the money to go with a long arm kit. What are the biggest benifits? I use the jeep on road alot so I want it to be pretty stable and not real squirlly behind the wheel. Will the long arm help prevent this? If not, what will? What lift manufacterers would you suggest? Or i also thought about a buget boost lift because I already have a 3 inch RC. Thanks for the help

YES!! long arm lifts are the way to go and are really really worth the money for many reasons; they help put control arm angles back closer to stock which in turn gives amazing ride quality and best of all you get way more flex out of them. i run long arms and ill never go back. i have 6.5 lift with rustys long arms and at 70 mph you wouldn't even know you weren't stock other then the tires screamin at ya.

I just recently went from a short arm 4.5" RE lift. added long arms and raised the front to 6" of lift. its higher. feels more stable and a lot softer and less harsh over bumps. keep in mind i didn't change springs or shocks. the lift was all in the brackets and the ride is a LOT better...

do it !

Huh? Long arms don't add lift.

What brackets gave you 1.5" of lift? Lol

And to the op, the biggest improvement will be ride quality.

Definetly worth it

What, new coil buckets?

The way you worded it made it seem as if you were saying upgrading to longarms gave you more lift

Does anyone know how good Iron Rock lift kits are? Never heard of the company before this, but they have the lift I was looking for. Thanks
