Ya, I get what you are saying, usually when I buy a different model Jeep, CJ, YJ, TJ, etc.... I go to a related forum and read back 9-10 pages if not more and get most of my answers.....
But people get excited and anxious to get answers on their first Jeep and I have to remember I am on Jeep 14 or 15...
Hi Folks, I'm Cora from Aussie Locker and I'm here to help answer any questions.
Aussie Locker and Lokka are completely separate companies with different locker designs, materials used and model offerings.
All lockers are not created equal. There are a few major things to consider when you purchase a locker: The alloy steel from which it is made, its intended use, the available budget, and the company's customer service and promptness in shipping. What sets Aussie apart from the competition is our steel---the ONLY automatic locker manufactured from 100% certified made in the USA with 9310 hardened alloy steel. Lower grade alloys, while less expensive, also can equate to shorter life. Additionally, the Aussie Locker is the only automatic locker manufactured in a world-class ISO9001 certified CNC machining facility. Competitive lockers are all manufactured in foreign countries and imported.
Don’t be fooled by Copycats. There is only one Aussie Locker---the Original Aussie Locker, now being Made in the USA, with the best materials in the industry.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought "Aussie" originally supplied their lockers through "LOKKA" for many years (2003-2011)
Did "Aussie" just decide to start doing their own manufacturing, or did "LOKKA" change their material and manufacturing process which caused "Aussie" to split????
Since 2007 (middle of your run with LOKKA) has anything changed with the "LOKKA" Lockers as far as design or change to inferior material that you are aware of?
I am all for supporting a USA company which manufactures and employs in the USA, I hate sending my money to China, India, Etc., but Australia... not so bad if its a substantial savings - comparison below.
Dana 30 and Chrysler 8.25 Lockers from Aussie vs. LOKKA;
Aussie: $574.94 with shipping to Florida - 2 year warranty
LOKKA: $437.00 FREE Shipping. (w/discount when ordering both together otherwise $10 more) 3 year warranty
NOTE: Just left LOKKA Facebook page, seems to be a few people complaining about not getting their lockers in a timely basis as of late.
PS: Is Aussie offering any specials for Cherokee Forum users?
I have (2) similar Cherokee's I plan on ordering Lunchbox Lockers for soon, One is my daughters 2000 on 33's and the other is my 1998 on 35's - I would be happy to do an independent review of both brands if you want to supply me with a set - trust me the Florida swappy woods I wheel in would make a good test. Hi bryweb, hope I can clear some of your questions up.
From 2002 to 2012 Aussie Lockers were manufactured by a 3rd party vendor in Australia an sold by Torq-Masters in the US and Australia as Aussie Locker. We moved our manufacturing to the US in 2012 to ensure better quality control and because the 9310 alloy we specify was increasingly hard to find in Australia.
The Aussie Locker intellectual property and design has always been owned by Torq-Masters and has not been re-branded or distributed by any other name - legally.
Our former manufacturing vendor made parts for another popular automatic locker company as a 3rd party as well. There are a couple cases regarding rebranding of this other popular design.
I'm working on getting vendor status for the forum, then we can talk about specials
