I liked my arb, but the air was a pain, and I dont like having a compressor running anytime I want it locked. I think the e-locker is nice because you dont need any other source to run it, well other than 12v, but theres plenty of that.

I really dont mind the 8 seconds or less it runs to activate my locker. And having the air available to use for other things is nice.

But I can understand the other side.

Although I gotta say the blow off valve sound makes me giggle when I hear it.

Sorry all for not providing the info you needed to provide a solid opinion, stupid me. Yes, 27 spline, yes, 35 MTZs, Dana 44 rear, 4.56 gearing both ends, yada yada yada. As far as the type of wheeling; about maxing it out WITHOUT the locker; mud, minor rock, hunting/exploring rig.

I too like the idea of having air handy for airing up tires but I wouldn't hate against an e-locker if I could find one a little cheaper. At this point, I need to suck it up and lock the front end so if anyone has any suggestions on a good vendor for lockers, either air or e, hit me up. At this point, something's better than nothing.

find a decent used locker and if you upgrade to a different axle, yu can always sell it and get your money back.

I just got done installing an e locker in my d30. Works awesome as expected. Got it from serious Offroad, he had the best price I could find.
