so i need to get some new lift shocks and im thinking about the rc8000 hydros and i wanted to see what you guys that are running them think

pretty much the bottom line cheapo white shock.....dont expect much performance or life out of them

well what would u recommend im looking for something on the cheaper side i dont really want to spend more then $150 on a set

if 150 is your budget looks like your options are rustys or rough country. I run rusty's now and they are acceptable. I just bought a new lift with rc shocks and will be throwing them on this weekend, ill let you know which are better. rustys and rc are like 30 a piece. Supposedly the bilstein 5100's are good for the price but your talking about 300 for a set.

what about the skyjacker hydro 7000 is anyone using those i found a set for 160 on ebay

I like my pro comps a lot. I measured and sized them out of the catalog. They only list shocks for up to 3" but do a little research. Mine bolted in and are like 15.6 inches collapsed. Think they were listed for a Chevy. Just gotta look. I'm sitting at 5" of lift. Got em for like 140

The link says loop to loop shocks, are u able to reuse your bar pins?
