Lift kit recommendations

Lift kit recommendations
Hello everyone thanks for having me in this community. I just bought my first Jeep it's a 2000 XJ I would like to run 33" tires and a long arm kit, what's a good lift and what all needs to be done to the jeep for this application? Thanks

Welcome to CF. On the issue of lift kits, it all comes down to what your usage will be (rocks, trails, mud, etc..) and personal preference. Many are opinionated or favoravble to certain brands, but it can be cheaper to piece you together a kit based on this question, "What is your goal/usage so we can help you select some components?"

I ended up going with the rubicon express 3.5" super flex kit, ended up a bit taller than expected but im happy with it. I run 33x12.5x15R M/Ts on steel rims with 3.75" backspacing, had to do a good deal of trimming on the front fenders to get the tires to clear while turning and while flexing on rocks, cut and fold worked great on the rear.
