Lift idea...
Just recently got a 92 cherokee laredo with new BF goodrich 33 12.50s, but its only lifted 2 inches, so it wont clear the tires. So heres my idea on lift.
Keep in mine i'm new to this stuff but i've been doing my research. Right now i have 2" aluminum spacers on rear, and 2" coil spacers on front. So what about buying 3" lift springs for the front and extended shackles for 2" of lift, leaving the spacers as they are only 2" Also buy appropriate shocks for this amount of lift. That would give me 4" lift rear, and 5" in the front.. Now here come the questions
1) will the front lower control arms be usable with this lift or will i need extended? I dont mind trimming fenders. Fairly certain ill also need an adjustable trac-bar right? Pitman arm also need to be extended or will the stock suffice? This will mostly be a trail rig with home-made sway bar disconnects/removable doors, but i also want it to be drivable if necessary.
Any and all advice is appreciated
Thanks!

If you dont want to go all the way to 5" you can just bump it up to 3". Low COG is much better than having a tall rig. Heres mine at 3" with 33's.

2 inches, but it wont clear. Can you post some pics of around your inner fender. Looking at it, it just doesnt seem possible to clear the 33 12.50s with 2 inches, even 3 inches. When i get the rear flexing, the body of the jeep just sits down on top of the tires so they wont roll and it wont go forward any. And the body "seam" on the front wheel wells scrapes the tires when turning.
My friend has an 88 cherokee with 3inches lift all the way around, thought about trying the tires on his jeep to see if they would clear. Any advice is appreciated!

You can make those 33's work, just have to bumpstop it. As you research and gather money, you'll want the longer CA's and various other parts will just make the jeep drive better on and offroad but isnt needed for a weekend beater.
Also keep in mind that around the 4.5" (-/+0.5" for differences in vehicles) mark is when things get expensive like SYE, really needing control arms, steering and track bar angles
