I got a total of 5 inchs from the ground to the bumper rear and 4 1/2 inchs in the front. went with the 3.5 inch because they said i would n't have to do anything but put it on no drive shaft change transfer drop etc.... well thats true isf you dont mind listening to the drive shaft wobble on decelerationbetween 30-45 mph . now I have a sye and new drive shaft on the way to be put in and I should be done. total cost for me

re superflex with new control arms $1400.00

tc drop $ 50.00

bfg tires km2 31 x 10.5 $ 899.99 installed

tera flex sye and drive shaft $ 599.00

labor $ 900.00

total = $ 3700.00 alot more than the $1400.00 in the catalogue

rubbing
not really sure how you can add up the cost of labor and sye in your total cost seeing how the lift was 1400.00 and the t case was 50.00. Outside of that nothing else has to be done by everyone that is wanting a lift. 900.00 for labor is WOW and thats all I can say to that lol.

My question to you is why are you running a tcase drop AND a sye and drive shaft. One should be used to eliminate having to do the other.

ya i just did a 4 inch lift, and total, including rims and new 31x10.50 tires, was around 1,200 and that was after replacing the rear aal that came with the kit with full packs, and if you get a 3 inch you can do it for even less

listen "rough country dude".....i use RC lifts often and have liked them but it's the truth,i run RC front track bar and quick disco's and pitch the products often on the site.but the really inexpencive "kits" don't have t-case drops, hardware, run AALs, often times just lower the track bars or have you drill holes to move the mounting pionts, standard rubber bushings in the LCAs....the more expencive kits normally include new track bars, full rear leaf springs, nice sway bar links, hardware, t-case drop kits, and adjustable arms with joints...you do get what you pay for....nowhere did i say anything about any manufacturers

Its the "you get what you pay for" that pisses me off everytime I hear it. Simply because most people take that as less expensive kit = less quality or incomplete when in reality the statement is just the opposite More pricey kits = Name + marketing + higher pricing so profit can be made selling to Large Warehouse Dist. such as Keystone and transamerica

I too have the RC 4.5". Its been a great lift the two years its been on. I got the kit with full packs. The rear has settled some, but the ride and flex has also improved since new. It sat rear high when first installed. Now its pretty even. I did redrill the trac bar mount, but the hole became elongated and allowed play. I suggest a proper longer trackbar from the start. I upgraded to IRO's with drop bracket. You have nothing to worry about when buying from RC.

See you on the trails!

Whatever I did the transfer drop before putting on the sye and drive shaft and there is no comparison to the ride of the rough country and rubicon the bushings are better on the rubicon and dont squeek and pop after a couple of years running. It has been my experience through life you get what you pay for . No special drilling with the rubicon all adjustable super nice riding kit and will continue to ride good for years to come. Jeep dont make a rough country they make a Rubicon!!!!!!!!
