Lift advice
My first Jeep, a 91 xj, (love it) and i am gonna have a few dollars from my tax return to throw at it and want to beef up the suspension. since i have an abundance of tires (recently scored on TWO full sets of 235 75r 15 BF ATs for super cheap) i dont want to go too big...yet...from what i read, two inches is a decent mild lift that will still make the tires useable. what is the best and cheapest way to do this?. i have heard of a bastard pack?...what/where/who?...my uncles a bastard, hes got a warm six pack of strohs..diferent deal?...seriously though. any help or pointers would be appreciated.

search the web... a warm six pack or stroh wont work..probly give you a belly ache! Ive read about dakota springs and zj coils with spacers... lots of options. but if you have some cash..look for a cheap 3" lift..rough country has reasonably priced products and many people are happy with what they get. Just remember...with a lift, the total cost isnt going to be just what the lift price is. you will encounter some parts that arent neccesarily included with "budget" lifts that need purchasing

I think you meant to say Rough Country. Ruff country is a different company. Or was it Tuff Country?

if you do get a lift and it comes with coils for the front end, your gonna need bigger spring clips because the stock ones wont fit the bigger coils. go to a dealer ship and you should be able to pick em up for 15 bucks for the pair
