I recently found a pretty decent deal on a set of 1997 Cherokee leather seats that seem to be in pretty good condition and want to swap them into my 1997 Cherokee. I believe they come from a GC if that matters. What would I have to do to get them up and running in my Cherokee?

The fronts are bolt in. Just wire up a positive and negative wire to both of them

those look like wj seats. in that case, you'll need to swap the wj seat on to your xj bracket. you'll lose the power for moving the whole seat forward and back, but will retain the power recline. under the carpet on your passenger side will be two wires. one is power for the seats. simply run the power wire to this and ground the negs, pop in a fuse in the appropriate place in the kick panel, and voila

for the rears, its a pain. worth it imo but a pain. they'll fit but you'll need to drill new holes for the bolts and carve a little off each seat bottom to fit against the wheel well.

search wj seat swap xj google will give you several writeups

He initially wanted $375, but I talked him down to $275. Does that seem like a good price to everybody? The drivers side seat leather seems to be in fantastic condition from the pictures and it includes all the hardware.
