Leaf spring clamps

M installing my AALs. The claims on the leafs need to come off so I can separate the pack. Do I bend or cut them off? Or non of the above. Thanks
Get your BAS (big *** screwdriver) and pry them apart. That's the easiest way I found.
To put the new clamps on, hammer them into place, nice and flush with the packs, and then use some vice grips to bend the side back (i bent mine back, against the sides of the packs. A RC video I saw said to bend them in, it doesn't really matter).

Assuming you have new ones (then it won't matter if you destroy the old ones), any method you choose to get off the old ones will work. I personally took a sawzall to mine
