Leaf spring bolt
HEy had some trouble with a leaf spring bolt that goes through the front bushing into my frame so had to cut it, just wondering if anyone ran into this same problem and if so where do i get another bolt. Ive looked around a bit but cant seem to find any. Thanks
its a metric 14mm coarse thread by 90-100 mm long. some people say you can use a 9/16th bolt but i would not recomend it. it needs to be a 10.9 JH bolt whichs means that it is extremely hard metal. if i remember correctly the metric bolt runs 5.50 a piece at ace hardware.

if you cut it, you are going to have to cut the floor or cut on the frame bracket to get to the bolt, and knock the weld nut off.
Doing research on what bolts to use led me to just suck it up and go to the dealer to get the right bolts and nuts. yeah it was like 9 bucks a bolt, and 5 bucks a nut, but i have peace of mind that i put the oem stuff on it. I didnt want to take a chance on anything else. I had to replace all 4 back there.
Good luck on whatever you do.
