pros to leaf swap up front-
easier to set up full widths
super stable on off camber situations
predictable(wont "unload")
easy to tune
cheap
easy to build
cons to leaf swap up front-
not as much flex....to an extent
bent main leafs(i bent 4 main leafs in 2 months)
approach angle sucks
i didnt have too many cons when i did my swap. the only biggy was bending main leafs, which could have been fixed with a double military wrap leaf. it worked great
i will say, now that i am a way better fabricator and trust my welds alot more, i wouldnt do a leaf swap again. 4-link just rides too good!.....Build a four link.

search the treads on hear. There is one that I know has a good pro and con part in it and its a step by step build. I wouldn't do it but I think it is just called full widths. There are a few people on here that run front leafs. I just wouldn't.

why down grade what you have? A 4 link rides better, flexes better, and isn't that hard to setup, and is even eaiser with the premade brackets that take a lot to alomost all guess work out of it. plus you have tons of aftermarket upgrades and replacement parts at your finger tips. 3 link it, y-arm it, long arm ect.
