Those are cool, how are you liking them? Can you tell if the directional pattern helps road life any? Does those load up if you need to back up in something soft?

as for an overall tire with some impressive snow and decent mud capabilities that wont wear to quick? wragler duratrac's. my 235/75r15's are a 10 ply tire, and have some wicked snow traction. the mud scene... well, they arent a mud tire, but they are still really good. the sidewall is aggressive enough, too. here:

The 38.5" swampers I had on my old K5 only lasted 12-13k from 100% down to around 25%.

To the OP.. I was looking at going with The Kumho's, I ended up picking up some Wild Counry XTX's instead. It has a decent tread design, great reviews and a 50,000 mile warranty..

As hardcore as they look, they're quiet on the road, last really well, and are extremely durable. Best all around tire out there.

i have the 315 75 16 kumho at on my 78 j10. better snow and wet traction than my old interco trxus. they do tend to get full of mud if not spinning fast enough. but over all very good on and offroad. ive only had them for half year now though and dont drive the j10 everyday. but i did drive from iowa to co with the bed full and uhaul packed and no complaints
