Default KM2's in the snow

Any reviews? Just curious to hear experiences about their performance in snow.

I am also curious about this, as these are the tires that my jeep currently has, and it is scheduled to be the DD as soon as the snow starts falling here in Flagstaff.

amazing. i live in the midwest around chicago and out in iowa during winter. we always get a ton of snow and my km2s havent failed me yet in it. they do like to kick up the snow a lot behind you. also in iowa where i live every street is a huge hill like san fran. most cars and trucks cant make it up the hills but i sure can.

They won't be as good as a dedicated snow tire, but they will be ok.

They should really shine when the snow gets over a foot or two in depth.

I have KM2s and they work good on packed snow with the center of the tread siped. On trails and deep snow their flexible sidewalls work great when aired down into the single digit range.
The only thing I have against them is, in rock the sidewalls don't hold up.

I've had mine for 2 Michigan winters and if there's is only an inch or so fresh snow on frozen roads, it's like going for a ride on a hockey puck, they have no sipes for traction. Get 4" snow, now you got something to grab at, 8"+ is like driving on rails, massive traction and huge rooster tails.

That is the reason you have them siped! Then they work great on packed snow and ice.
