Dove season starts in one week. Wich meens I'll be heading to the desert for the next few months and running the a/c while doing alot of short stops. Any ideas on CHEEP ways to keep it cool?

 

You could take the hood off. Or cut vents in it. And if you haven't already pull the factory hood insulation out of the hood.

 

Temporary?

Install spacers on the hood hinges. It will lift the rear of the hood and let the hot air out of engine compartment allowing more air flow and thereby cooling the engine.

If you don't like it just pull the spacers and return it to stock.
