i want to do the k and n air filter on my 89 xj but dont know what to do about some of the vacumm lines. this one here is the major one im curious about. do i just cap it off or what??
Also is there anything else i need to take care of/switch for swapping the filters?

Are u buying the whole kit or just the cone filter? If ur buyin the kit it will attach to the new air tube and they give you a new line for it, if your making one yourself just try to tuck it away all it is, is a return line and doesnt really suck much air

I'm not certain how much hood clearance there is to even make this work, but would it be possible to put a small breather filter out of the CCV hole instead, giving it seperate filtration from the engine's air system?
