Default Jy tubular control arm swap

Ok so while crawlin the yards yesterday I noticed there were a lot of amigos, pathfinders and troopers with tubular rear lca"s. They all had bushings at both ends. Has anyone tried shortening these and making them work up front as shot arms for a xj. Im at about 4" of lift now and im starting to need longer control arms

good idea but i would be worried about strength if your gona cut them. you would probably want to atleast sleeve them for more strength.

If I sleeve them then I think that might make them more difficult and less cost effective than if I just got some dom tubing lol. Im just lookin for something to get me by for a lil bit while I swap my dana dd in
