SO I was combing the "JY", they actually call them Auto recycling yards here in Germany, anyways, I came across a 98 Classic with a Chrysler 8.25. Would it be worth my time pulling it and paying $50 for it. The drums are complete and from what i could tell it was in decent shape. If i do pull it what else would i need to grab to put it in the 88? I will rebuild it once I get it home and I will get new gears for front and rear and possible a locker, Do i need different brake lines or rear driveshaft? Any help is greatly appreciated.

its mostly just a bolt-in deal, just get the axle, and to be sure you can grab the drive shaft if the jy tranny and ur tranny are the same, otherwise it should work fine
I dunno the exchange rates or anything, but over here $50 is about 2 or 3 cases of beer. So if that's what you're paying, yeah grab it. $50USD is a decent price for that rear.
The pinion on the 8.25 is about 1/4" longer than the d35. So it really shouldn't mess with your driveshaft length.
It will have different e-brake cables than you have, if you're lifting your jeep, and the passenger side cable on the 8.25 is good keep it, it's one of the upgrades for the '88 body style. You'd probably want a new drivers side cable, a passenger side 97 and up if you can find it at the yard.
I would replace the soft brake line with an aftermarket extended line.
