BE CAREFUL!! i bought my xj cheap and was pumped. It was advertised as a "bastard lift". Front coils out of a Ford Thunderbird and rear leafs added out of an s10. Jeep Rubicon shocks and extended brake lines. I was so excited i barely looked at it. Made sure it started and ran good and loaded and left. I took it for a drive and it had death wobble so bad it could shatter teeth. Front end rides like a one ton truck. the rear leafs seem ok, the shocks are ok. The front end is so out of whack that the driver side spring is pulled so far back its touching the bump stop. Passenger side is pushed so far forward its about to pop out. I ordered 3" lift coils from Rustys for $121 shipped to my door. My advice. Go 3" coils. shackles in the rear (if your theyre not sagging). add extensions for the shocks or find some used Rubicon shocks. Control arms and track bar should be ok on 3" for off road only. Next cut the fenders and stuff some 33's on it.

Personally if my jeep wasn't a daily absolutely I would consider a junkyard lift.
