Found an ax15 at the junkyard which was already detached from the jeep. I opened it up last night and it looks okay on the inside. No metal particles, bearings seem smooth and none of the gears damaged. Now I have a dillema - should I rebuild it with new bearings and synchros or do I just put it back together and send it? I was thinking about manual swapping my xj with it. Does this gearbox look worn?

 

Id send it but if parts are inexpensive id maybe do synchros.

Id kill for auto jeep.
