Jks quick discos?
I have a 97 Cherokee with a 2-3 inch lift. Id like to put some sway bar discos on the front. So far, the JKS look the nicest. any experience with front discos or any recommendations?
Thanks,

I too like the jks ones. I believe thoes are completely removable. I just bought the new rough country ones only because I got them cheap at a show. They only disconnect at the bottom and swing up and attach to a bracket out of the way. Wheeled them all weekend without issues

JKS is good - prolly the best for the XJ. Pricey tho. And the "Quicker" disco is a different upgraded product from the "Quick" disco.

I think that's all we can get for the XJ. Either case you will be more than satisfied with them. I'm currently running at set at 4.5" and love them... Only draw back is that you need to grease them regularly and that gets messy; the little check valves in the zerk fittings are all gone on mine and they seem to be pressed into rather than threading, so I haven't replaced them yet.

I have the quicker disconnects. The top mounts to the swaybar with an allen bolt. So for complete removal its not all that quick.
The bottom mounts with a pin so it is easy to disconnect, you just have to secure the disconnect and the sway bar up and out of the way.

I have the quicker disconnects and I love them. The only drawback as stated is that you have to grease them all the time. Getting them out of the way once they are disconnected is easy if you have a factory skid plate. The kit comes with studs that mount on the skid so they can be easily attached to when they are disconnected.

Even if you don't have the skid plate its really easy to store them. This is where your wife's/girlfriend's hair bands come in handy. I just leave one on each side and loop them over the link when disconnected. Also really helps considering your links aren't often the same length...

I bring a bag of 12" zip ties and run one through the frame to hold the swaybar

Yes this is exactly how they are meant to be mounted when you remove them from your axle. I had to go out and purchase a Rustys front skid plate but the factory will work exactly the same.
if you need any help let me know i just got done doing mine.

Too much trouble to buy an entire skid just to secure tie-ups! I screwed eye bolts into pre-existing holes in the frame and used tiny bungees as tie-ups for a while. Eventually I made some durable tie-ups with coated cable & hooks (DPG style). They attach to the hooks already screwed into the frame. Have worked for years. Zip ties break from the flexing.

theres a thread on here ( i forget where i saw it) guy made his own and looked simple enough. little welding and some simple fab work. i think he even tapped in some zerts for longivity. probably the cheapes route to go.
