buddy has one along with cold air, exhaust, headers. He didnt notice too much difference other than rpms went higher before shifting. imho not worth it especially since the cost of it.

its a jeep, it will never go fast

from what I have found and in my own experiences a comp chip for the 4.0 is not really worth the money. That is just what I have found though.

The chip doesnt do much with the Jeep 4L.

I know the Jet chip in my ranger certainly opened her up but its completely different with every vehicle. I know my focus is supposed to have 30hp hidden in there waiting to be unlocked by a chip but I'm fine with 140 and 56mpg. lol

The 02 Liberty 3.7L V6 is Jet chipped and chilled (AEM intake), really made a significant difference in the mid range, pulls hard now, real hard. Was plug and play Jet, $150 cdn was a good buy. (The cold air intake was $120 and an excellent fit to the Libby application.) Averages a +1.5 - 2 mpg improvement over normal driving over 6 month since install.
Local Canusa APC parts wanted $390 for Jet system for the 95 4.0L HelloKitty ZJ, OBI 2 type computor, available Jet product was tunable type electonics pod, no info availabel and and unknown results. We kept our money on that one. The ZJ runs great as is.
No system available for my 89, OBI 1 is not supported with chip upgrade possibilities.
Your 94 may have only the expensive option with the Jet products. Try a search of the tech archives on the JP magazine site as they did an extensive test of these type of products last year. You may have options with an alternative brand of electronic.

get better results by changing the injectors.
Did mine yesterday and still can't get over the extra pull.
My old ones were the originals, probably dirty, so that helped too.

I've had the stage two chip for a few months now and...well...didn't help the fuel economy any, but didn't hurt it either... I only paid $75 for mine!

The 703's with the yellow top. from a supplier in Florida.(performance EFI on ebay...ya there are cheaper ones...)
They were just like brand new, and it was an easy install.
Best tip was to lube the O-rings with vasoline!

Instant better idle, and stronger pull.
Checking the mileage over this week.
