Jeep not level
Everyone I have an issue I'm not sure how to go about or where to start looking for the solution.
I have a 1994 Jeep xj and I added the 3" RC lift. The lift says it will "level" the jeep rear with the front. Well after I got the lift I noticed the rear leafs only added a 2" lift and the front springs added a 3" lift. So this did not level the back of the jeep with the front, which was one of the reasons I bought the lift.
Aside from that after installation the driver side of the jeep seems to be half inch or more shorter than the passenger side. In other words when looking at the jeep from the rear it looks lobsided. I inspected the work closely and I did notice that one of the old leafs I installed with longer side facing the front rather than rear, but I dont think this slight overlook would of made that big change, its the second smallest leaf.
Any suggestions as to what may be causing the slight lean on the car? also should I contact RC about the advertisement of "level front with back" I do plan to correct that small leaf to have the longer side match the direction of the other leafs. I also looked into a solution for the "level" at an additional cost of some shackles or blocks. I just think RC should not say it levels the jeep when it really doesn't.
Thank you for your input.

More than likely your leaf springs are shot. If that is the case the AAL will wear out really fast. I'm sure there is something in the fine print saying it will be level with new leaf springs...

What about the slight lean razor? that was not there before I put the lift. What could I possibly had messed up on? would that leaf facing the wrong direction make that big of difference?

Leafs looked in good shape. I guess I'll just take it appart and make that leaf face the right direction see what happens. I called RC and they said the leaf pack cost 129.00 each I really didn't want to spend another 300 dollars after spending almost 400 on the lift.
Maybe I can run to the junk yard and do the s10 leafs. I hope thats a pretty straight forward install.
