Default iron rock offroad 8 inch long arm install

I'm new to the site and the jeep world so please be easy lol. This is my first post. I have copied my 1987 xj lift install because I haven't seen to many talk about this exact lift installation. (Iron rock offroad 8 inch long arm). I have bagged trucks before and put lifts on full size trucks but this is my first jeep build and very excited to be a part. If anyone has any questions i will answer as fast as i can. I cant figure out how to add the pictures to this comment thread but this is a slide show video from the beginning to end of lift install.

Looks like you could really use some shackle relocate brackets.

There 33/12.50s. With 3.75 back spacing. Ya I've heard everything about it being to tall tall but I figured the more clearance the better. And as for the relocating brackets. What parts are you talking about? I know I need to do something about the emergency break lines because they are way way too tight and its sitting level. Please inform me on the brackets so I can take a look and see what needs to be done. Thank you guys for your input

More clearance the better? I'm almost 4" lower with the same size tires and plenty of room.

Lol I'm not trying to start an argument just looking for helpful information. I'm glad your able to do able to do that. But commen since is that the very bottom of my rig is higher so I should be able to make it over a little taller rock withought ripping anything out. Thats all I ment.

yeah holy shackle angle..

and you need to go with otk steering asap being that high on stock is just asking for serious problems

^^ this is what your shackle should look like. 45 degrees the opposite direction of what yours is now. it will allow you to flex and have a better ride. right now, your leafs are basically acting like bricks.

you can take the rear off and almost not feel any difference, off road though it will make a huge diff not having it, unless you snap it like I did mine....
