i used a ratchet strap at some point on my lift but can't remember how i had it set up
be creative, in a round about way all lifts go the same its just how we get there thats different

like has been said....take off your calipers, take off your tie rod end at the pitman arm, and your track bar at one end. life will be much easier. i had done over 25 cherokee lifts and have never had to take off the lcas to get under 4 inch springs in, or ever used spring compressors.

X2 had to do this on both sides of mine with the front. i used what called a lady slipper...kinda looks like a cane upside down. but a punch will suffice...

Stay in there man, i was at the same point with mine, after the rear being a beotch and the cross member like a jigsaw puzzle, i was ready to explode! but man, you forget all that when you put those front tires on and set her on all 4!!!

well, I've been busy enjoying her on all 4! but I thought I'd post and thank everyone for the help and encouragement. Just got her aligned today and all looks well. After my last post I let my frustration subside, went to bed, and the next morning all was well with the world. I ground down and old broken socket extension to make a punch and I got the front up enough to attach the sway bar end links and that kept the axle from twisting on me again. I had everything buttoned up shortly thereafter. Then I had to tackle the snapped stud on the TC mount. It was only held on one side by one bolt. That was some more fun with drilling and tapping, but thankfully its all done! for now anyways. I think I have some vibration and I really don't want to do the TC drop, so an HnT may be the solution. I can live with $200 if it saves motor mount, TC, and U joint wear. thanks again for all the help and encouragement!

first pic is a before shot obviously! Look at the rear sag! funny how much tires went from looking huge to small. I'm lovin it though. Made such a difference in look and ride.

thanks. still waiting on plate from DMV I just have a moving permit in the front window. Haven't even had the jeep a month and it's already lifted... I'm happy with that.
