A short time back I got to thinking of a way to easily swap the 91-95 years to the JTEC ECU. So I did it. There are a few interesting quirks involved.
- The 96 ecu is needed for a working tachometer.
- If you try to flash a 97+ ecu to the 96 cal it will brick the computer.
- The JTEC cannot control the 91-95 cruise control.
- The CEL remains functional.
