Default Installing a Class 3 Receiver in the front of my 90 Cherokee

So I have a class 3 reciever on the rear of my Cherokee, and have used it as a recovery point,it worked very well.

I wanted to see about putting one on the front of my Cherokee.

Here is an idea I have and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on my idea,

My friend gave me a Class 3 receiver for a Dodge Caravan. I dont have a vehicle it will fit,so I thought about butchering it and adapting it to my Jeep.

I was thinking of measuring from the insides of the Bumper Brackets on my Cherokee, and then using that measurement, cutting the receiver to fit,and welding the receiver to the insides of the bumper brackets. Depending how high the receiver sits,I would of course need to do some modification to the stock bumper to allow access to the receiver.

Anyone understand what im getting at with this plan? Will it work,or would the bumper brackets be too weak to hold the receiver if it were used as a recovery point?

Any thought and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Your going to need to tie in to more holes then just the three for the bumper. You'll tear the frame rail if you dont

Get these

Then adapt the receiver to mount up to those... Otherwise you will destroy the front of the unibody as has been said above.
