No review the instructions on the cheaper kit on rough countrys site and they tell you to just relocate the lines you don't need lines or track bar review the instructions they explain how to do it in there. Just try to save you money I'm only 23 my self so I know trying to do it on a budget

Better then mine would have looked with that weight in the back mine were shot I just added a second add a leaf and boom they were good to go haha not the right way but as I said trying to budget but it's really up to you man my jeep rides great compared to a few other jeeps I have ridden in but it could be way better it's really up to honestly if moneys tight and you want a lift I would recommend it at the end of the day it's a cheap lift as long as u except for what it is you'll be happy with it but I don't recommend the other kit those arms are junk honestly and that's a huge chunk of that price jump I would post a pic of mine if I knew how to haha just recently joined the forum

Buy the cheaper kit, though I dont like the whole "kit" thing but it fits the market. Then pickup control arm drop brackets and shackle relocation boxes. If you dont now you likely will later. CADs are the poor mans long arms. Not really the same thing but they fix the horrible control arm angle that lifts 4"+ have. With your original budget this is completely doable.
If you want a better end result dont mess with a kit and buy some choice parts like others have recommended.
My recommendations for a self built low cost kit.
IRO double shear track bar
RR CADs w/OEM arms
RE coils and leafs or Rustys + leaf hardware
HD Offroad Engineering Shackle relo boxes
Degree shims for correcting rear driveline angles
Relocate front brake lines lower
Relocation bracket for rear lines
New sway bar end links to fit lift, Zone is decent
Home brew quick disconnects if you think youre gonna need them.

The adjustable control arms are a waste of money if you plan on long arms in the future. The rc track bar is kind of a pos. I got their nonadjustable short arm kit with full leaves. Then I added a rock krawler track bar and some crown extended brake lines. Then after I put a rear tire carrier on with a 100lb spare and sliders the leaves sagged so I put on some shackle relocation boxes and extended shackles. I also have a winch sitting in the trunk. If I take the weight out the leaves unsag. They were short at first With no weight in the back. The rear leaf bushings went out after a year so I swapped in some poly bushings from rc for $30. They are still ok. The control arm bushings are kind of loose after two years but I have rk long arms sitting there waiting to be installed so I don't care about those. The shocks are ok, they are rough as **** but they haven't blown. The front springs are still good. If the leaf bushings go out again I'll probably swap in some military wrapped leaves from iro.

I have that exact kit on my 88. In a nutshell it sux. I didnt know any better at the time. However since Ive done a ton of research I would now make better choices. First of all its very very rough. The rear leafs are def too short just like everyone on here says. And the adj cpntrol arms is def a waste. If I were to redo this and was on a budget I would suggest taking that money and hiding it. Then start saving til I had enough to get a long arm kit with a good set of shocks!!!!!! And the track bar tie rod end was bad out of the box. So my personal opinion is wait get the good stuff.
