Default Ideas for fender flares?

What are some good ideas you guys have for homebrew fender flares? I like the look of the bolt on bushwhackers, but those are a pretty penny. Anyone ever create a mold and fiberglass fender flares? I am alright with fiberglass and that could be doable, but im worried about durability.

These ran me around 400 bucks. They won't stand up to rocks but they look good and keep me legal.

that looks cool, but I want to keep the stock body lines. I just want beefier fender flares, not whole new fenders haha

I prefer stock, rather then spending 400+ on plastic.

I'd ethier go for tj flares or the naiper flares. Tj flares can be found for around 50 $ or so and some time to set them up right.
Naiper flares are pretty awesome but are 350 ish I think

I'm working on a set. Making a wood mold of the fender shape, then wrapping 1'x6' pvc board around it (heat it up to keep its shape and clamp it onto the mold), trim to fit then bolt on and shape. Should be fairly sturdy. And will only cost $50 give or take.
