Default I think I have the perfect shackle angle.

so what do you think?


hopefully this summer i will be building a rear bumper, do you think I should make shackle mounts on the bumper, or get some relocation brackets? and any tips or pointers?

Looks good ONLY if that is at droop not with weight on it.

thats not a good shackle angle. you want more at 45 degrees

ahh didn't see your question after the picture.

i myself optioned for H.D. offroad shackle relocation brackets. they are pure beef and increase the shackle angle like whoa. also makes driving 10x smoother. all around great product and i would recommend them to anyone.

Definitely relocation brackets, Rough Country now makes some and then there are the original HD ones that are pure beef.

RC is 100% bolt on. HD Engineering ones are bolt on / weld, although could be ran with out welding.

X2, I love my HD relocation kit. it can be bolted on. some have to have a little cutting to fit due to year differences. these are worth the money. 135$ + shipping

the RC ones are bolt on, no questions. both should achieve the same thing. 120$ + shipping
here is my shackle angle after the relocation. before they looked a little more straight up and down then yours...

if you can weld, go for slider boxes. if not, then the bolt on relocation brackets will work perfect.
