i need an advice to lift my XJ
i bought an xj last year and I'm thinking to lift it between 2-3inch but I'm not sure which lift should i chose any suggestion? also how much labor work cost to install the lift and does it depend on hoe may inch?

bastard pack it. You'll be over paying for a kit and a shop to do it all when you can get that lift. Heck, if all you want to do is 2" might as well just get a coil spacer and shackles

with that budget, and not knowing about cars, all you would need is shackles and spacers. Depending on the condition of your leafs. You may be better off getting a 3 inch lift. More options. Also, I don't know where you are located, but in my area people woukd charge you like $300. It's not hard.

I really think that a 3" lift with leaf springs, coils and shocks is the best bang for the buck in most situations.
You get new, stronger springs that will last alot longer.
Look into something like zone offroad 3" lift or rustys offroad 3" lift.
Two good lifts, one is a little more than the other.
Add an adjustable trackbar and you have nice, fresh suspension and shocks.
You get new, stronger springs that will last alot longer.

it would also help if you put the year of your xj in your signature or profile, or say what year in the thread. Some years had leafs that were prone to sag, and using an add-a-leaf is not recommended. Below is an example of a "budget" kit that uses an add-a-leaf
