Hybrid jeep cherokee
So. According to wikipedia, "A hybrid vehicle is a vehicle that uses two or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle" So When one starts vehicle in gear and it moves under electric starter motor power for a couple feet before it starts.. Does it qualify as hybrid vehicle?
So I can call my clutch bypass switch a hybrid function switch? Here's an Other idea. What if when switch is on, engine stops when vehicle stops and restart when pressing the gas a little.
I'm a genius.
Now, how to make it turn off when it stops moving. (Don't press the clutch)
And lets order a couple spare starters.

Yes, Jeeps are definitely hybrids. lol
Starter wired into gas pedal? In some hybrids one of the main electric motors powers you along from takeoff, and the gas engine is just hooked up via the transmission and gets spun up to operating RPM. More like bump starting. There isn't a starter per se
