How to turn on the electric fan by a switch?
I think I remember seeing something stating that I could turn on the electric fan via a switch. I cant remember anything really about it. Just looking to run a switch and turn it on when Im off road.

If u want to turn it on and off just by the switch ..then disconnect the the power cable to the fan..then from that same power cable on the fan run a longer cable to your switch ..then run a cable from the battery to the switch ..and that's it..add a fuse after the battery ..

Now another way to do it if u want your fan to also turn on with the sensor it has...simply do the same connections except keep your power connected to the fan as it originally is...just tap into the power connection to the fan and onto the switch ..then from switch to the battery ..I hope I'm making sense ..lol. for u to understand me..

i have mine on a 3 way. auto-off-manual
the fuse block under the hood you take the apart (it is held together by clips) then you sort out which wire is your power to that relay and cut it.
then splice in a wire (12ga) that will go to your switch.
then to your switch also run fused power.
follow the wiring diagram for your switch (mine is a metal toggle so it was easy)
and BAM! you now have an auto-off-manual electric fan

I think I remember seeing someone run a piggyback splice on the wire.
