Default How much lift do I have? (pics)

Here is my XJ, I have had it for awhile, but don't know how much lift it has (was lifted when bought)...

I just recently put Rusty's 4.5" leaf springs on the rear, but it has aftermarket shackles (don't know how to measure them), it has 33x12.50s, and no flares with untrimmed fenders...

If someone could tell me how to measure my overall lift height, it would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Middle of the center cap to bottom of fender measurement is 17.5" front 17" rear stock. Your prolly sol with cut fenders though.

Assuming the shackles are probably 1.5-2" I would say somewhere between 6-7".

Checking Front Ride Height

Measure front ride height with the vehicle unloaded (no luggage or passengers) and with the fuel tank full.

Place the vehicle on a level surface and measure the veryical distance between the top of the axle tube (A) and the underside of the frame sill (B). Refer to Figure 1 for driver's side measurement and Figure 2 for passenger side measurement. Be sure each measurement is taken from the top of the tube and not from the axle or shift motor housings.

With Standard or Soft Ride Suspension, vertical distance should be 17 cm (6-3/4 inches) plus or minus 13 mm (1/2 inch). With Heavy Duty Suspension, vertical distance should be 20 cm (7-3/4 inches) plus or minus 13 mm (1/2 inch).

Checking Rear Ride Height

Measure rear ride height with the vehicle unloaded (no luggage or passengers) and with the fuel tank full.

Place the vehicle on a level surface and measure the vertical distance between the top of the axle tube (C) and the underside of the frame sill (D) inboard of the jounce bumper (E).

With Standard or Soft Ride Suspension, vertical distance should be 15 cm (6 inches) plus or minus 13 mm (1/2 inch). With Heavy Duty Suspension, vertical distance should be 18 cm (7 inches) plus or minus 13 mm (1/2 inch).

I don't think the front axle looks too bad (looks pretty centered if you ask me), and the lca has a 4 inch drop bracket (not a long arm, but better than nothing, I guess...)

What? I think 6.5" is pretty good for 33s, in my opinion...

I'm putting some stock flares back on really soon, so that little bit of extra lift will hopefully clear stock flares pretty good on the trails...although I have never had stock flares and don't know how much clearance they need for 33s, I am just assuming they would likely rub with 4.5" of lift...

opinions are like...well you know. IMO running with stock flairs on 33s means you have way to much lift. My wheeling style is low COG, so trimming instead of lifting
