UPDATE ******Picture of lift in post #28 ********
Measured my fenders from ground to flare.
Rear = 29.5"
Front = 31'
Now if I put a 2" budget boost on, the rear will sit at 31.5" and front at 33"? What's my best bet for making this thing sit level without spending a fortune? I want this thing to sit how It should have from the factory. I just want the 2" budget boost, but I want front and back to sit as level as possible.

Spanks?
From the factory the XJs sat nose high. You can do the BB & a 2 in block. Blocks are not a favorite mod on this site.

you have a number of options
Your rear springs are probably shot. You could replace them to gain back some height.
You could also get longer shackles and shackle relocation brackets
For the front, you could buy new springs or spacers

What's the cheapest and most proper way to do it? Front is going to be spacers I think. Just seems easiest. Rears I should do shackles? or replace the springs and add blocks?

dont you say that b word again.
simply replacing your springs will boost it.
a shackle will be the cheapest but may do work on your sagging springs and they'll need to be replaced anyway

Cheapest: shackles or an add a leaf
Proper: 2" lift leaf packs
At ride height, do your springs have any arc to them?

Many will say an AAL or shackles will be a temporary fix because your leafs will continue to degrade. I'd recommend replacing them.

Going with OME leafs is the best option for the long haul.Originally Posted by hpwrestler220
I heard the AAL will effect ride quality tremendously (for the worse). True or False?
We bought leaf spring from some one who lifted his rig and were in great shape to replace my sons sagging 94 springs and ended putting a 2" budget kit with AAL's. His XJ rode like a tank.
Old Man Emu has everyone praising there ride on the road and there off road prowess is great.
spend the money once, do it right, be happy with it:

I have to agree, a complete kit is the only way to go. You'd be glad you did!!Originally Posted by aroundincircles
