Home made Roof Rack and Sliders
yesterday i went and picked up the material i needed for my home made roof rack and sliders, and today i started fabricating

What kind of metal did you use on the sliders?
I would add a lot of support to the slider bars because it got obviously crimped when you "bent" it. |

Do you mind giving dimensions on the rack? lengths and what not. I wanna try it out and I like the shape of this rack good job!

Wait, did you say you used 14 ga on the sliders?

I thought it looked thin, but 14 gauge is way to thin for sliders. Those are going to fold after one medium sized hit.

But on a side note and I am not whinning but will you please shut the door or tie the dogs up in the 7th pics. Bet that boxer had a hard time sleeping that night. |
