I know this is talked about alot but I didnt find what I was looking for when I searched.

Who makes the best adjustable trac bar? I was about to place an order with rustys but when I did more research they have alot of bad reviews so it had me second guessing. Their shipping was also pretty high. I was going to order their adjustable trac bar, a new steering stabilizer, and a steering box brace. Shipping was like $60. I only paid $40 for shipping for my tailbone kit from Detours and that's alot heavier.

a double bushing one with the bracket and brace will give you the best results stay away from the factory tre set up on frame end

I have had rustys for some time now. I agree the shipping is a bit off, but I have always enjoyed their parts and havent had a problems with them. I have heard people have the trac bar HD mount cracks with heavy wheeling and bigger tires (id assume 35's?)

I looked at the iron rock offroad piece I like the double shear with bushings much more than the tie rod style. I think I'm going to order that plus a new steering stabilizer from them. I got a steering shimmy that comes and goes. Even though my XJ is only lifted 2" the trac bar and steering bar are not parallel to eachother like they should be so I hope this fixes the problem.

Make sure you get the 1-5" track bar...

Im currently using the IRO 1-5 on my Cherokee w/3" lift.

my IRO track bar was really a great looking piece. Welds look good, rods seem very heavy duty, I was suprised at the weight of the bar. I know its not, but it seemed nearly as heavy as on side of the clayton's long arms I put in. I dont see it breaking unless you are going for some pretty big tires, in which case you likely would be making your own anyway
