Kits come complete with two Rectangular housings and Xenon bulbs rated at 60/55 watts.

Just don't forget that what sets headlights apart how well the light is dispersed (how much of the light is being put in the usable area), and how sharp the low-beam cutoff is, which enables you to run your lights at the correct height without risking blinding other drivers. This is especially true for those of us who run higher than stock wattage bulbs.

Not to be demanding, but take a few pictures with your low and high beams on with your vehicle aimed at a flat surface (preferably non-reflective like a wall, not another car) at a distance of between 25 to 40 feet and post those up. Here's an example of my own. Let me assure you, the pictures don't do the lights justice as I had to cheat to get the camera to not just be flooded with light.

Low Beam

High Beam:

And lastly one that I took that before I worked out the exposure (the light floods out the pic) but you can see how sharp the cutoff really is:

Happy Headlight Shopping!

BTW, these are IPF H4 Housings w/Fatboy II bulbs and an upgraded harness.

I purchased the housings and bulbs from Dirk at DPG Offroad, give him a call as he usually has the best possible prices on ARB/IPF items.

IPF H4 Housing: http://dpgoffroad.com/products/ipf-820h-headlights/

4x41 IPF Headlight Bulbs (Pair): http://dpgoffroad.com/products/4x41-...adlight-bulbs/

Instead of purchasing a commercial product, I DIY'd the upgraded harness/headlight loom ala GoJeep: http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoHeadlightLoom.htm
- most of the connectors can be had from Advance Auto Parts, but Pep Boys had them too, just at a higher price. I also purchased the two relays required there.
- I puchased the wiring at Lowes which I think saved me about $5 overall.

thanks for the info, and the links.
But 78x2 plus the wiring is definitely more than I want to spend..the kit off quadratech is 120, and its plug and play..I have heard nothing bad about it

Not a problem, hope they work well for you. I do agree that not everyone needs to run this kind of setup, but it is great if you run back trails or country roads at night. You honestly can't even compare the light output and beam throw of these to anything of stock wattage. To be honest, these things are easily brighter than the set of Bixenon HID/Autopal lenses setup I had before (would have been much better if I had projectors) and don't have that finicky warm up time. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back to HID, but I'd do it the right way, not cheap ebay junk.

I suppose while on the topic of HID, TheRetrofitSource.com is one of the best places for information and myth dispelation on this topic. If you REALLY wanted to be a DIY master, you could have some homeade housings for just over $350ish, which is not too shabby for the ridiculous about of light they throw.

The eBay ones don't look bad but I'd want high beams.
