Default HELP Please

Well I started on my 3" Rough Country lift with full leaf packs on Friday morning, front was done by 10:30 am and I have been working on the rear since. Ran into a few time consuming snags along the way, but all of those are taken care of. I am now having problems getting the lower leaf pins lined up with the whole in the spring perches on the axle. At first I had the spring attached and then tried to get the U-Bolts on and realized the pins were not seating correctly. I now disconnected the front and rear bolts and I still cannot get it to line up correctly.

Both sides are completely disconnected and the only thing holding the axle up is the floor jack.

How do you all change out the leaf springs and get everything to line up correctly? I am willing to disconnect everything and start all over if that is what is needed.

Thanks guys, I'm in a real pinch and really need to get the car to the tire shop tomorrow so I can get myself to work on Tuesday.

bolt the leaf to the body of the jeep, and ratchet strap the axle as needed to get the pins to line up.

Thanks for the response man. I was back on 4 wheels on Thursday of last week and I am all set now. I just lined the axle up really close, tightened up the U-bolts, drove around few miles until the pins worked themselves into place and then locked everything down as tight as I could get it. Everything lines up nicely now and the shims on the leafs sit nice and flat against the perch.
