Never heard of plasti dip. Sounds like a great product. Is it a rattle can? Ive been wanting to do the same thing.

 

It's a rattle can. 6$ at home depot. Just make sure you go along the edges with a razor knife a little before you peel it off. It doesn't have to be too thorough but I didn't do that and peeled it off too fast and it pulled it off the letters and I had to redo it.

 

Plasti dip is ehh. In the beginning can looks great and holds up, but I've found 12+ months down the road, it requires to be re-done. And that's with doing the prescribed 4-5 coats per the can's recommendation after cleaning the surface well.
