I attempted to do a simple LED upgrade today, five (5) LEDs from superlumination.com to replace the dim stock ones. The originals all worked except the fuel gauge. After replacing them I reinstalled the cluster and turned the lights on and they all work except the oil pressure and temp gauge (both on the right side). I swapped out LEDs with the working ones, I even swapped the brown holder things and still no luck. I even performed the gauge function check and all gauges and indicator lights work. Anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

After an hour of swapping bulbs with carriers I final got them all to work. Mods please delete this thread.

One thing to keep in mind with LED bulbs is that they are polarity sensitive. Incandescents can be plugged in in either direction and they'll light up. The LEDs are Light Emitting Diodes. By definition, diodes, light emitting or otherwise, only work when current flows in the proper direction. If you have an LED dash light not working, usually taking it out, rotating it 180 degrees, and reinsert it is all you need to do.

9 times out of 10, if the LED is good - you simply have the bulb in backwards. I did the same for a few of mine, but I simply flipped them around and all was well again.
