I have a 96 xj
4.5in rc long arm kit
curries steering.
so i went wheelin yesterday up at cow mountain OHV
on my way up my steering wheel was fairly perfect at 12 o'clock
while there i came down a little rough once on my driver tire.
( i wanna say i was steering slightly to the left.. but another part of me remembers being fully turned right...)
and after that my steering wheel was set at more like 3 o'clock while going straight..
took a look and i dont see anything bent? or anything out of the ordinary..
but i thought the only way to adjust which way is straight on the steering wheel was to lengthen or shorten the drag link. and that things bolted pretty tight..
is there something else before the box that could have slipped or bent?
or something else that would cause this.
driving on freeway once you get going straight u can let go and it still stays straight.. but the steering wheel is just facing like 3 o'clock..
any help would be appreciated
