Default HELLPPP!!! do they make custom shifters for automatics?

Hey I was wondering if I could drop in a different shifter on my xj. Kinda like how u can change the grips on the stickshifts can you do that on automatics? I know I can chage it to the GC shifter but can I buy a different looking one ?

you can get any shifter really so long as the threads match, which they should. you will need to permanently remove the lockout if you want to use one without a lockout

How do I remove the lock out?...and isn't that sorta dangours when I park ?. Can't it numb out of gear due to some ones ignorance inside the car

its been covered before though I dont know exactly where to find it, can probably find it quick with search. pt 2...I dont have people with tourettes riding in my Jeep so its not an issue?

cattle prod should stop anyone from doing it twice, it will survive the first time just fine
