Heim joints for steering?

It might, not the answer you wanted but each vehicle is different. I've heard people say if they didn't they got bad bump steer but mine is still in the stock location on the axle and no bump steer.
I've had my heim set up on my early bronco for almost 8 years and have had no issues with themon or offroad. I used 3/4 heims and .25 1.5 dom tube got everything from http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.126/.f

the way to keep from getting bump steer is to make sure the angles are the same on your trac bar and your drag link. make sure they are the same length also. if they are different you will have bump steer.
