Headrest added to rear seat in XJ
I saw how someone else added a rear headrest to their XJ and wanted to do the same. I noticed how they hacked the metal back rest to the seat to get the bracket (from front seat to Cherokee) to fit. I didn't want to do that. So, I got my front headrest from an Acura SUV. Went to harbor freight and got a cordless saws all for $39. Cut the brackets out of seat at bone yard. Took the plastic pieces and headrest. Total $19. Then took the seat and had local shop weld the bracket. They did a great job in my opinion. Cost $40. The seat cover just un-zips and zips. Simple. Has some left over black primer from painting bumper. So, I hit it.
Not to bad! If I can do it, YOU CAN! Any questions, just ask. Complaints. Too late, it's in.
Cost $98
