Hey Guys,

I recently installed a set of Heavy Duty Dorman Leaf Springs along with 1.5”-2” shackles and the shackle angle is pretty bad - 90° (see attached image).

The current solutionl is to use H.D. Engineering Shackle Relocation Brackets to better the angle to 45° - something which I am fairly certain will be corrected by using them, but I don’t know how the leaf springs will handle it. It could be a non-issue, so please excuse my ignorance, but I am concerned the leafs will flatten out even more than the already are if I do go this route. Is this a problem? Do I need to buy different leaf springs? My end goal is to be around 3.5”-4”. Any recommendations or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

You will be fine with the leaf packs with the shackle relocation brackets combo
