So i put a 3 inch rough country lift onto my 97 cherokee now i am having clunking sounds, squeaking sounds and the death wobble.....
Is it because i bought a cheap lift that i am having these problems with my jeep?
I am not trying to find the perfect caddy like ride...But i would like to have a nicer ride than what i got....

Clunking sounds= you drive a jeep
Squeaking sounds= you drive a jeep
Death wobble...
that's a different story, did you do anything to any of the steering components?

death wobble is caused by many many things.
get an alignment, or do it yourself, very simple and googling will get you a how-to. you should do it after lift anyway as it throws things way off.
tire balance, track bar, TRE's, ball joints, control arm bushings, and many other things can cause it. I would check the trackbar next for play. then tie rods. but the clunking and squeaking could be something not tightened correctly, which could also be causing your death wobble.

Hey I just ran thru the same problems.... First check track bar- since thats free....did you install the relocation bracket? Or drill a new hole? If thats fine then get tires balanced....then do alignment. Thats all it took for me....the clunking and squeaking went away.... the squeaking was just new stuff breaking in and the clunking...maybe your coils are stiffer than expected? I thought I did something wrong but took to local jeep club and its just bc I have really stiff coils everything seems to clunk. Maybe your problem is diff. But that was mine

It's worn out steering components bro. A TRE or a balljoint somewhere in your front end. They were worn out before the lift, but lifting it increased the angles on everything making it more noticable. It isn't because of the lift, it's because of worn parts.
