Did anyone removed that vent on the bottom and relocated the climate control module down to that spot?
I guess my plan is to delete the radio and the vent & move the climate controls down to make room for a big switch panel

Its been done. Found an old thread for you on relocating the climate controls for a double DIN installation in a pre-97. Its not a step by step, but still helpful.
