I have a 99 xj sport and just recently did the doorless mod on the front doors only. I also have a 93 xj sport for parts. My question is is there anyway I could modify the doors from my 93 to fit on my 99? I was thinking about cutting them up and gutting everything from them so they will be light but it looks like the hinge from the 93 would fit inside my door hinge on my 99 and I would just slip a bolt in? I was wondering if anyone has tried this and any advice at all would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any info.

Thanks. I already scrapped the parts car and gave up this idea. Parents needed it out of the yard and I didn't need the half doors. I plan on going this route in the future though but with doors around my year. Thanks anyway man.

doors from a 99 will fit a 93, its only the latch hole that outs of place, so cant see it being a problem going the other way...
