grand cherokee swaybar install

grand cherokee swaybar install
so i helped a buddy out and picked him up a grand cherokee sway bar from the junk yard after putting one on my cherokee. we installed it with a few issues, but got through it. needless to say he went out wheeling this weekend and came home to tell me that the top link on the sway bar link had completley snapped off and he had to remove the sway bar to drive home. any thoughts on why this happened? maybe too much articulation withouth disconecting the sway bar links caused too much stress??? and any thoughts on how to correct it so it wont happen again?

quick disconnect sway bar links! no wonder why they broke, they broke because 2 different parts where trying to go two different ways
